Morgan State University – a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense

Morgan State University has been designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense through the academic year 2027. The National Security Agency (NSA) and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) jointly sponsor the CAE-CD program. The program serves as a catalyst to protect the country’s National Information Infrastructure, by promoting higher education and research in cyber defense and producing professionals with cybersecurity expertise. This designation recognizes MSU’s significant engagement in community involvement, academic activities, and institutional practices in cybersecurity.

Congratulations to Professors Kevin Kornegay and Michel Kornegay of Morgan State University for their achievements! To learn more and stay up to date on cybersecurity happenings at MSU, check out the Cybersecurity Assurance and Policy Center website.
